What We Do
The Empire APEX Accelerator, a NYSTEC subsidiary, provides government procurement expertise to help businesses across our 41-county service area of New York State pursue government contracts at federal, state, and local levels. Services are confidential and free, and provided through one-on-one counseling and group training settings.
Our mission is to serve as the axis for existing and new business to strengthen the defense industrial base by accelerating innovation, fostering ingenuity, and establishing resilient and diverse supply chains. Under the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) management, we provide the education and training that businesses need to be able to participate in DOD and other government contracts.
Impact to Date
The Empire APEX Accelerator has been helping businesses pursue and perform under contracts with the DOD and other federal agencies, state and local governments, and government prime contractors since October 1, 2020.
